Release to the universe …

10273763_633202946756148_6762344978148210801_n

Try just for one day to release everything to the Universe. You might be shocked by how much faster things will materialize in your life when you get out of the way.

No matter what has happened in your past or what is going on in your life right now, it does not have the power to keep you from having a great life.

Time to burn those negative tapes that keep playing over and over … all the “coulda, shoulda, wouldas” … it’s one thing to realize the negative impact, it is entirely different to truly let go. Paradigm shift … if you give so much of yourself to the universe, you deserve to ask for something in return. It’s about balance. That is not weakness, it is growth.

If you don’t like your life, have a meeting with yourself, and think about what you have been thinking about. Instead of blaming it on everything else, ask yourself if it’s time for you to get rid of your stinking thinking. is it?

Let your light shine …

This week, it seems so many are passing from this earthly world. Rest in peace my sweet friend Jill, I hope your pain is gone. Know that I will miss you and I wish I had had the opportunity to see you more often, but I have such wonderful memories! Floyd, who became Dad after a time and helped to shape my life — my wish for you is music, which you gave to others … may it now be given to you. So many leave us, but leave their impression upon our hearts. Thank you for what you gave, and whatever the afterlife holds, I hope it is enlightening and joyful. Truly … rest well.

Light shine!

Life is journey, forever spiraling, recycling … may your journey be filled with promise.

Be a friend …

friend

A friend should be one in whose understanding and virtue we can equally confide, and whose opinion we can value at once for its justness and its sincerity.

THE ELEPHANT’S JOURNEY TO PAY RESPECT, BUT HOW DID THEY KNOW?

Lawrence Anthony, a legend in South Africa and author of 3 books
including the bestseller, The Elephant Whisperer.

He bravely rescued wildlife and rehabilitated elephants all over the
globe from human atrocities, including the courageous rescue of Baghdad
Zoo Animals during US invasion in 2003. On March 7, 2012 Lawrence Anthony
died. He is remembered and missed by his wife, 2 sons, 2 grandsons,
and numerous elephants.

Two days after his passing, the wild elephants showed up at his home led
by two large matriarchs. Separate wild herds arrived in droves to say
goodbye to their beloved ‘man-friend’. A total of 31 elephants had
patiently walked over 12 miles to get to his South African House.

Witnessing this spectacle, humans were obviously in awe not only because
of the supreme intelligence and precise timing that these elephants
sensed about Lawrence’s passing, but also because of the profound memory
and emotion the beloved animals evoked in such an organized way: Walking
slowly, for days, making their way in a solemn one-by-one queue from
their habitat to his house. Lawrence ‘s wife, Francoise, was especially
touched, knowing that the elephants had not been to his house prior to that
day for well over 3 years!

But yet they knew where they were going. The elephants obviously
wanted to pay their deep respects, honoring their friend who’d saved
their lives — so much respect that they stayed for 2 days 2 nights
without eating anything. Then one morning, they left, making their long
journey back home.

Soooooo.….……HOW did they know Lawrence had passed away?!?! SOMETHING
IN THE UNIVERSE IS GREATER AND DEEPER THAN HUMAN INTELLIGENCE.

Let go …

In keeping with my “Ruler” archetype … lead by example, mentor, support … a true leader brings out the best in others. This is my goal. At times, however, I can be impatient and then I must remind myself to breathe, let go, and allow the process to unfold as it is meant to unfold. I must heed my own advice! One of my goals is to live more in the moment. There is so much beauty to be experienced … rather than being caught up in the next assignment, the day’s work and the future, I plan to take in the small moments. It can be simple; the sky, the feel of my cat’s fur, the dog who wants me to throw a ball, the opportunity to give my children a hug. These are the moments that count …
