I have been called …

I just registered for my Art Therapy class. Cool … getting back to my counseling/psychology roots. I’m thinking life coach … reconnecting/balancing mind-body-spirit. Weight loss, anger, personal issues. Small groups preferred. Healing, living, spirituality and loving life. Sound good?

Life IS a dance …

Life might not be the party we hoped for -
but while we’re here, we might as well dance”

Sometimes, we need a reminder … it is not about OUR glory …

” There will come a time in our lives when we will come to the realization that the world in fact does not revolve around us! At that moment, we will begin to appreciate the sacrifices that others have made to make our life seem easy. Thank you is a great start but to reach our potential as human beings then we must learn to perfect the art of caring and sharing!”-Jon Hawk

What is your dance about?

The journey between who you once were,
and who you are now becoming,
is where the dance of life really takes place.”

Sometimes God speaks softly, intentionally, until we listen! Thank you …

Gal. 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

Empathy ~

Mr. Alter’s fifth-grade class at Lake Elementary School in Oceanside, California, included fourteen boys who had no hair. Only one, however, had no choice in the matter.
In an Associated Press story (March 1994), Ian O’Gorman, undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma, faced the prospect of having his hair fall out in clumps. So he had his head shaved. But then thirteen of his classmates shaved their heads, so Ian wouldn’t feel out of place.
Ten-year-old Kyle Hanslik started it all. He talked to some other boys, and before long they all trekked to the barbershop. “The last thing he would want is to not fit in,” said Kyle. “We just wanted to make him feel better.”
